Restrooms & Showers
Clean, public restrooms are available near the main parking area. Outdoor rinse-off showers are located adjacent to the beach path to help you wash off the West Side's iconic red dirt.
Picnic Pavilions
Shaded picnic tables and large pavilions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These are perfect for large family gatherings and escaping the intense midday sun.
Parking Logistics
Ample free parking is available in the paved lot. For those watching the sunset, many visitors choose to pull off the shoulder of Kaumualii Highway for a direct view from their vehicle.
BBQ Grills
Selected picnic areas feature charcoal BBQ grills. Please ensure all coals are completely extinguished before leaving the park.
Dog Friendly
Kekaha is a dog-friendly beach. Please keep your pets on a leash near the pavilions and always pick up after them to preserve the park's cleanliness.
Waste & Recycling
Trash and recycling bins are located throughout the park. We encourage a "Pack It In, Pack It Out" philosophy to protect our coastline.
Accessibility & Inclusion
We strive to make Kekaha Beach Park accessible to everyone. The main pavilion area features paved paths and ADA-compliant restroom stalls.
While the sand itself is not wheelchair accessible, the view from the parking lot and shoulder areas provides one of the best coastal panoramas on the island without needing to traverse the dunes.
